How to calculate running pace per mi/km

Divide the total time in minutes for the run with the distance (after converting miles to km), this will the give the min/km pace. If you want to convert to min/mi you can convert the km distance to miles by multiplying by 1.609 before dividing by the time taken.


How to calculate averge running speed

Convert the total time taken into hours, then divide by distance in either miles or km to calculate the average speed.
